Preservation Guide for Eternal Flowers

Preservation Guide for Eternal Flowers

Here’s an Everlasting Flower Preservation Guide to help keep your preserved flowers beautiful and long-lasting:

1. Avoid Direct Sunlight

  • Reason: Direct sunlight can cause fading.
  • Tip: Place your preserved flowers in a cool, shaded area away from windows and direct sunlight.

2. Keep Dry

  • Reason: Moisture can damage the flowers, causing them to lose their shape or develop mold.
  • Tip: Avoid placing flowers in humid areas like bathrooms or kitchens. Do not spray or expose them to water.

3. Minimize Handling

  • Reason: The petals of preserved flowers are delicate and can break easily.
  • Tip: Keep the flowers in a fixed position and avoid touching them frequently.

4. Gently Dust the Flowers

  • Reason: Dust can accumulate over time, dulling their appearance.
  • Tip: Use a soft brush to gently remove dust from the petals. For flowers in glass domes, simply dust the outside of the dome.

5. Maintain a Stable Room Temperature

  • Reason: Extreme temperatures can cause flowers to deform or lose color.
  • Tip: Keep the flowers in a room with a stable temperature, ideally between 15°C to 25°C (59°F to 77°F). Avoid placing them near heaters or air conditioners.

6. Use a Glass Dome for Protection

  • Reason: A glass dome protects the flowers from dust, moisture, and physical damage, while enhancing their display.
  • Tip: Place your preserved flowers inside a glass dome or display case for added protection.

7. Keep Away from Chemicals

  • Reason: Chemicals like perfumes, cleaning sprays, or air fresheners can damage or discolor the flowers.
  • Tip: Ensure the flowers are kept away from any chemical products or sprays.

8. Regularly Inspect the Flowers

  • Reason: Early detection of moisture or dust can prevent further damage.
  • Tip: Periodically check your preserved flowers to ensure they remain dry and free of dust or mold.

By following these steps, you can ensure your everlasting flowers remain vibrant and beautiful for months or even years.
